MacProject II can calculate the schedule and costs of a project family. MacProject II takes into account not only the subprojects linked directly to the master project, but also the rest of the project family. This process is called consolidating a project family.
MacProject II does not perform these calculations automatically. You must request the consolidation yourself.
When you consolidate a project family, the changes are stored only in the current project document.

To consolidate the schedule and costs of a project family:

Choose Consolidate Project Family from the Dates menu.
Important: If you cancel the consolidation part way through, you should finish the analysis later by again choosing Consolidate Project Family, or you should revert to the previously saved version of the document.
